Introduction
Hi there! My name is Eric Weist and I'm passionate about all things photography. I'm from Preston, MN I and love taking pictures of events and weddings. In my spare time, I like to read and play trumpet.
Education
I am currently enrolled at Rochester Technical and Community College in Rochester, MN and plan to transfer this fall to Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, WI to double major in DIgital Media Marketing and Business Management with a minor in photography. I'm about a year and a half through but I'm always eager to learn and expand my knowledge.
Experience
Don't let my lack of college education fool you, over the past four years, I've gained experience in event and wedding photography. I'm a freelancer who has photographed numerous weddings and a couple national events including the Catalina 22 National Regatta which I will be photographing again this summer in Michigan. I have also been mentored by another professional photographer with decades in his field name Tim Graham who runs Graham Photography. I've also spent quite a bit of time reading any materials related to photography which I then applied to my personal photography to really hone and practice. I'm also proficient in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to bring the best out in my photos and always enjoy trying new techniques.
